Which languages are supported?
PROTTOBau understands 100+ languages and up to 10 speakers in one conversation. The protocol is generated in the project language you choose.
Which standards do the reports follow?
The standard of the country the site is in. Germany: VOB/B and VOB/C. Austria: ÖNORM B 2110. Switzerland: SIA 118. United Kingdom: JCT and NEC contract forms. Italy: Codice dei contratti pubblici (D.Lgs. 36/2023) and the direttore dei lavori site records. Company-specific formats can be set up under a Project agreement.
Who pays for PROTTOBau?
On the Project plan, exactly one party pays: the company running the project — typically the client or the main contractor. Everyone working on the site, including subcontractors, architects and trades, uses PROTTOBau at no cost of their own. On the Solo plan, your company simply pays per licence for its own people.
How is my data protected?
Audio recordings and photos are deleted once the protocol is made — we keep no audio and no images. The protocol itself stays on your own team's devices; once it is generated we hold nothing on our servers. Processing happens on EU-based servers only.
Is recording on site even allowed?
Only with everyone’s knowledge. The workflow is built on announced recording: participants are informed before capture starts, the recording is used once to write the protocol, then deleted. Align the exact setup with your legal counsel for your projects and contracts.
What about confidential projects?
For sensitive projects there is a confidential mode: no photos can be taken at all, and the protocol is produced from speech only.
Where are the servers?
All servers are in the EU, and they are used for processing only. Nothing is stored outside the EU, and nothing is kept after the protocol is generated.
Can I add my own report format?
Yes. Any workflow, report format or company-specific requirement can be added to your assistant. Ask us for a custom workflow.
