Scope

This policy covers the website prottobau.com. The PROTTOBau app presents its own data notices in the app; its core principles are summarised in section 04.

Data processed on this website

This is a static website. We set no accounts and run no sign-ups. Our hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Falkenstein, Germany — EU) technically processes access data (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser identifier) in server logs for operation and security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); logs are routinely rotated and deleted. When you contact us by email, we process the data you send solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR).

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts and all assets are served from our own EU server — no third-party requests are made when you view this site.

The PROTTOBau app

Audio recordings are used once to write the protocol and then deleted — we keep no audio. Photos go into the protocol and are not retained on our servers. Protocols remain on your team’s devices; after generation we hold nothing. Processing takes place on EU-based servers only. Recording is announced to participants and confirmed in the app before it starts; a confidential mode disables photos entirely.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is shared only with IT service providers needed to operate our services (such as hosting and email providers), bound by data processing agreements, or where the law requires it.

Storage and protection

Connections to this website are encrypted (TLS). Data is stored on EU servers with restricted access and is deleted when no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may also complain to a supervisory authority — for us, the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

We may update this policy as the website or app evolves; the current version is always published here with its date.
